Quiz Night

Quiznight at the Allied is always a fun night. We have a quiz every 2 weeks, always on a Wednesday

Our next quiz night is to be held on Wednesday 28th April, starting at 8pm, with our usual quiz master Big Steve. As always,the quiz entry money will be split between the three highest-scoring teams and the Thames Valley Air Ambulance.

The Smoking Ban

As you are all aware, smoking in pubs is now illegal!, but this does not mean that the Allied Arms is no longer a smoker-friendly place. We have a large heated parasol in our middle beer garden as well as patio heaters in the lower area, so while you may be exiled outdoors for a cigarette, you'll be able to do it in comfort! Remember, if you smoke inside any public building you are liable for a £50 fine, and we can be fined £2500 for letting you do it. Nobody wants that, so if you do decide to smoke, do it in the garden!
